Privacy Policy
Temecula Businesses (temecula-businesses.com) is run by Jason Pieters, a sole proprietor in Riverside County, California ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect on temecula-businesses.com and what we do with it. The short version: we collect only what you send us, we use it to run the site and answer you, and we don't sell it.
What we collect
- Claim, add-a-business and advertising forms: your name, email, phone, business name, role and message.
- Payments: handled by Stripe. We receive your name, email and payment status, never your full card number.
- Basic site analytics: page views and general device and browser information, used to see which pages are useful. We don't use advertising cookies.
- Server logs: our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps standard logs, such as IP address and request time, for security and troubleshooting.
How we use it
We use this information to answer you, set up and bill your listing or service, publish what you asked us to publish, prevent spam and abuse, and keep the site working. If you contacted us about a paid product or service, we may email you about it. Every such email offers an easy opt-out.
Who we share it with
We share it only with providers that run the site for us: Vercel for hosting, Supabase for our database, Stripe for payments, and our email provider for sending messages. We also share it when the law requires. We don't sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If we ever add advertising that relies on cookies, we'll update this policy and add a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link first.
How long we keep it
We keep form submissions and customer records as long as needed for the purpose above and for tax and accounting records, usually no more than 7 years. We delete spam and rejected submissions sooner.
Your choices and California rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of any sale or sharing (we don't do either). Email hello@temecula-businesses.com. We'll respond within 45 days and won't treat you differently for asking.
Children
This site isn't directed to children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
